I HATE the bushwackers!! I think they're useless and ugly, and the first time i do some heavy wheeling i'm sure they will get torn off or busted. I really want to ditch them but i'm not ready to deal with all the bolt holes in my fenders and rear doors. and nooooo i'm not spending that kind of cash on wheel spacers just so my ghey fenders are filled out. That money could get used on something more important, like new shocks for instance. Plus for the price of wheel spacers i could get new Cragar's for less which i'm going to do anyway so i can run my 34x15 LTBs when these 34x17's go bald. Btw... i have LTB's on my CJ and now on my XJ and i still love them. They wear quick but i dont drive a lot of miles(4 miles a day). They grip to rocks and dig and clean out excellent in mud. Plus being 10.5" wide I hardly notice them when accelerating or braking, and i turn like stock and they dont rub. ps. I dont recommend them if you drive more than 10 miles a day

Shocks came today, BPE's and front shock stud conversion come tomorrow. Riddler Diff covers ordered today from Jeepin Outtfitters and Gas Tank skid is ordered from Kilby as of 10 minutes ago. On the list: 1 Ton steering and bumpers from JCR Offroad Possibly TNT Y-Link upgrade from Jeepin Outfitters If not then i'll get the t-case skid from Kilby I'm not sure about sliders yet, i might fab them myself considering i have a few rust holes in my rocker on the one side so i might be cutting them out and doing steel replacement.

trying to keep this thread updated, Hours have been long at work and haven't done a whole lot of wrenching. BBCS shocks are IN!! and they ride like a dream, I really love these shocks thus far. So the suspension is covered for the time being. And so starts the armor, look what came today ;D

Sam i haven't got an exact measurement for you. I could run out and get you one if you really need it. If i had to guess i'm going to say its 5" over stock. Those are the 11" travel shocks.
They have roughly an inch and a half before the bump, a little more in the rear. They dont bottom out on the road at all, and the ride is really nice.
I'll tell you one thing though, they were a bitch to compress into place by myself, good thing i had kevin to help me with the rears.

i would be resting on the bumps if i ran those
i have 10" travel shocks in my jeep now and want bbcs because all i heard were good things
I may end up playing with the shock mounts to see if i can fit them somehow

i thought about getting the 13" travel shocks and opening up the lower mount and putting the eye through the hole and mounting it to the bottom of the stock location.
