uhhhhhhh D ring on the license plate frame? please tell me that somehow goes into a custom reciever I knew someone was going to ask about that. It is hard mounted to something back there not just the bumper. I dont plan on pulling on it though, hopefully i'll get around to building my own bumper soon. The front is that same way, The PO actually was telling me he CUT his licence plate to fit aound the d-ring and then DMV was pissed when he took it back. What an idiot

just a small update. sry no pictures my camera stopped working and i'm waiting to get it back from Nikon.
I've been having some difficulty with Rustys and i dont know why i've always had nothing but good luck with them. I was trying to get my parts sooner than 14 days so i upgraded the shipping to 3days when iplaced my order and that was 2 weeks ago. Last Thursday I called and was like... WTF?? The customer service guy couldnt even find my order and then i gave him my Invoice number and hes like i'll call you back. Two hours later he calls me back and says he found my order but it says it was paid be ECheck which he explained to me that they dont except and thats why the order never made it from IT to the warehouse. I told him i paid with my Debit card and it shows that it had been charged for the full amount, so he said he would send it out and refund my shipping charges.
Tuesday i get my package and i'm going through it, and no flippin U-bolts... So Wednesday i call him back and tell him whats up and he says he'll over night another set to me. That was Wednesday morning at like 8am. Thursdays gone and no u-bolts but i guess tomorrows another day.
I've been pluggin right away at this heep of a jeep that my older brother keeps refering to as "Murdered Out" because its all black.. Hes been saying Murdered Out so much that its stuck in my head and thats what i've started calling it.
Front Driveshaft off my '87 is on Tires are balanced (no longer drives like a shopping cart) 4.5" coils are on Alloy Axle tube seals are on as of last night
If i get my u-bolt the leaf springs will be going on asap, and then i still need to make up my mind what i'm doing about shocks.
ok so it long boring update.

its just chillin right now, I was going to use it with the other Cherokee i was going to buy because that was a 5 speed and the gear would have matched up. But since i've got this one and its an auto and i dont have the funds to regear right now, its gonna hang out untill i can use it or want to sell it.

I actually have an update with picturesssss.... Before After Before After Before After I'm pretty happy, it rides soooo much better now. With some shocks it'll be even better. It didnt drop much, maybe a little but it will settle with some time and i'll be happy.

BTW... while i'm here, i've got a question.
While going down the road if i get on the throttle sometimes it will lunge toward the left. Originally i was under the assumption that the leverage created by the blocks was causing the axle to wrap hard under acceleration.
now that the blocks are gone, its still doing it but not as extreme as it was before. Before it would send me flying into oncoming traffic now it just steers to the left a tad but if you have a good grip on the wheel it wont move.
Could the locker be engaging when i get on the throttle causing me to vier?

Leafs will def settle alot over time. My lockers don't pull me left @ all. Pretty straight.
Although my old XJ pulled like you are describing and I didn't have lockers. My old XJ liked to do the pulling left when accelerating or stopping.

I had that happening and it was a bad wheel bearing on the front. also make sure a caliper is not stuck.
I have never had any pulling issues with my locker.
