so i have a plan to alleviate my front bumpstop conundrum as some know , mine explode on occasion those can be purchased for a hefty price. my idea, is to copy that. get some toobing with a threaded insert on one end and somehow attatch a bumpstop to the end of some threaded rod.. stick the toobing in my factory bumpstop hole and weld around it. BADABLING easy, stout, adjustable

Sam forgot to add his new wheelie option. While making tight u turns he can raise the opposing side rear tire about 2 ft in the air.

so through a sting of events beginning with myself mentioning to will that the offspring have a video contest going on back in spring, i now need to "5 up" my previous jumps before i was "one upping" them, but now we have hd. so plans are changing a bit. I want to minimize breakage whilst jumping. my dana60 in back is dookin everywhere, but i have 2.75" od tubes my 44 in front is fairly dookin, but nothing wrong with making it dookiner. i have some 2x6x 1/4" box steel left over from my rockers, i was going to use it to brace the rockers to the framerails, but they have held up alright so i'm gonna put those on hold for a while. so gun' truss the axles, gusset the inner c's to the tube. and carry spare ball joints. right now i have cracks in my frame around my steering box brace and my trackbar bracket, so something needs to be done there. www.temper-mentalracing.net/services.htmthese should butt up against my tnt stiffeners and from there i will use a fish plate to connect the two.

so, i made my 3 link upper mount.
it will be on the passenger side, the inside of the frame is plated with 3/16" steel for about 12". then a piece of 2x6 tube cut 3/4" thick to space my old rk upper control arm mount a little to clear the pinch seam. the bottom of the rk bracket is flush with the bottom of the framerail and i'm going to weld a plate to the bottom of both.
i'm sure it will be plenty strong.
79.81% anti-squat 1.30*+ roll axis angle 22.09" roll center height
god damn i wish i knew what those numbers meant.
all i know, is mah anti squat is gewd too much antisquat and the front end of the jeep will want to lift up when accelerating, and too little antisquat and the front end will have trouble keeping the tires planted firmly and will shudder 50%-100% is considered the happy zone and you wan't the roll axis as close to zero as possible (and im damn close)

That all sounds so sick, if i knew what any of it meant.
Are you still gonna do a mid arm setup?

i may keep the long upper and do some mid lowers, i ran the numbers and they don't change much at all if i cut a few inches off the lower arms

in an effort to make my dana44 stronger, i have researched that its possible to run 30 spline outer shafts stock 44 outer vs 30 spline outer the stockers are 19 spline and so are the alloys i run, same size shaft, so far i snape'd 2 moser alloys and one stocker, these will make them the same diameter as the inner shafts, which is definately an upgrade, but i'll be more susceptible to breaking the inners and u-joint then, and if the u joint goes there is little chance of both shafts surviving. this would require me to bore out my spindles a little bit, which i may attempt with a hole saw. the other thing is locking hubs run $345 for a pair (warn basically has a monopoly on them) but my other option is drive flanges www.polyperformance.com/shop/Poly-Performance-Dana-44-Dana-60-Drive-Gears-p-61.htmlwhich would be nicer for dragging over rocks, if i do break a shaft, I could just pull the flange and stick the cap back in and drive home. much cheaper than a dana60 and i will have the same size shafts as a stock 60,
