i took some progress pics this time too.
planning on covering it all with some hinged sheet metal (or probably just bolted down with some sort of weather stripping/ gasket) the fuel door removal i really thought i was going to cringe when i cut into it. but maybe i was overtired and didn't give a shit. thats currently welded about 6" higher and im going to replace the part it came from with some sheet metal then grind it all flat, paint it, and put my armor back on.
i like the fact you can tell i have a blingin' rear axle now, and half of it isn't hiding. OH YEA the clearance is bangin too.

i really don't care about the body and paint matching anymore anyway. i have some overspray and when i rub my metal against a tree it stains the white paint fucking brown for some reason.

Cause white paint from a can is extremely absorbent for whatever reason. If you want it to not do that throw some clear over the white once it's dry and then the dirt will wash off rather than rub in.

i think im gonna pull an all nighter just to get this shit legit and back on the road again. I hate having it down.
energy shot ftw
and another thing.
i plan on getting a selectable locker for the rear, im thinkin co2 activated arb, either that or find an electrac, and im not willing to deal with an ox again.

i have a almost new tank from my last jeep.
gonna beef up the stock skid too before everything is welded in.
don't want a permanent/dented skid in there.

well, i thought i was gonna be up real late tonight getting it all done and squared away, but i under-estimated my sheet metal supply, plus it was getting fuggin cold anyway.
new tank and new pump is in, and i kinda got a skeleton of angle iron back there which i'll get some sheet metal over
