bought another flatfender this morning, a 1948. I am little confused to whether it is a military or civilian issue, or a mix but it is stockish and comes with a plow and new soft top. I would say it is a good start to the new year! probably picking it up this weekend, I will have pictures then

yea i was on it very quick, some call it a sickness haha. I dont think you can get a better flatfender around here for the money. The poor guy definately needs the money and it is worth it so i didnt really haggle with him. It is complete, definately fixable, probably get it running and fix the brakes, register and drive it

the 82 would need a lot of work to be a dd, even then they are not the best dd cars.
my 92 is my dd during the non salt months. not for sale but would trade for a nice older porche or karmen ghia haha.
i know most people hate vws but of all the haters i bet none of them have driven an pre-93 water cooled. what a blast. and definately easier to work on then a cherokee. but the vw is admittedly not the most reliable car, maybe if it was stock. for a dd id say honda civic or toyota corolla

picked it up yesterday, came with a brand new soft top and a 4 way meyers plow which ill prbably sell. It is certainly not a 1948, it is a willys MB which was produced from 1950 to about 53, basically the military version of the cj3a. not sure exactly what im going to do wth it yet but first order of business is to get it running. L head engine, 60hp military blackout lights and hinged grille winshield vent bars and cowl access door, unique to m38s it has some rust more to come!
