there is rust but i think its fixable. i have a fberglass tub around here also i can use if i need to. but the plan is to fix the brakes and get it running and put in this scout fuse panel and wirign harness i have hanging around here because the wiring right now is a big fuck show.
but anyway i had it running tonight (on ether) but had it going long enought to prime the fuel pump and get some fuel to the carburator. The previous owner has the original fuel tank resealed and painted, so all i had to do was hook up a fuel line (and filter) from the tank to the fuel pump, which also appears to be new, and add a few gallons of fresh gas. However there was some crap in the carb so i took it apart to clean it. going to put it back on tomorrow and see if it fires up. Might also pick up a new ignition switch so i dont have to hot wire it, didnt come with keys

my jeep just has a button on the floor that you step on and it turns over. Its a very secure vehicle.
