i have a drone at speed, sounds like a turbine. varies with speed. sounds like its spooling down or up as i go slower or faster. absolutely positive its coming from the rear
pinion bearing?

Will swerve side to side hard and see if it gets louder one way. That would be an outer axle bearing.

when the pinion bearing went on my 35 it only made noise under load, and i could physically move the spicer joint about an inch each way.
