dana 60's can only be swapped under tj's because of that issue. i guess you could just put one perch on the diff and run a 5" block on the other side
it will give you more lift too

his sig says YJ. what makes you assume XJ? good point.... never mind.. i thought someone else posted this. sorry so then why dont you center the axle under the jeep and weld the perches on where they need to go? dont forget about caster and pinion angle... mkay

I assume your 60 is not from a 78-79. The diff is over to the driver side more, making mounting locations much more tricky. There is approximately 3" less driver side tube on a 60 thats not a 78/79. With a 78/79, the spring locations are very close to a YJ spring mounting diameter so people are able to use or lightly modify the cast mount and completely move the passanger mount. dana 60's can only be swapped under tj's because of that issue. i guess you could just put one perch on the diff and run a 5" block on the other side it will give you more lift too Dana 60's can be swapped under a YJ, you just need to get the correct year 60. I say just link and air shock it and be done. Problem solved.

i don;t have the money to link and airshock it, i found out that i either have to outboard the springs, or cut the axle tube and get a new passenger axle

^At that point i would think that you might be looking at just as much money/work and time as linking it and going to coils. shoulda gone with rockwells
