I am about to put the same muffler in mine, i am taking off my flowmaster and putting that in. I have done a few before for friends and they sounds great, good rumble under torque, but not too loud at idle but nice tone.
I have grown out of my loud exhaust, and want something a little quieter.
Actually as i think of it, my friend has a 98 xj with that muffler new cat, and the apn header and it sounds great.

dropped all the d44 parts at the installer today. talked about the d30 build.
hes gonna build up a HP30 he has in the shop- reinforce/box in the ca mounts, coil boxes, truss, a gusset here and there, and hes putting in johnny joints in the uca mounts and giving me a good deal on HD (currie i think?) ball joints since the ones in my 30 are basically new.
i'll be trading him my 30 in as a core when hes done, and just popping my 1-ton knuckles on it.

Banditt is the lowest priced shop i have ever heard of at roughly $300. Every single shop up here wants at least $600 plus an axle out of the vehicle. Damn highway robbery. Thats why it was cheaper for me to drive to CT and pay steve to do it for me.

Yea but banditt has apparently fallen off the face of the earth. I was mostly referring to places up here where it costs and arm and a leg to get a gear set done. Cheapest up here was $300 per.

i needed a tranny fluid drain/refill badly as my fluid was mud brown, so i did that today and also put in new hella 500 ambers. turns out the mexico import cheapie version (which i had on there that wore out to paste yellow from amber in 2 yrs) no longer exists, as the FF series will take over the 500 line in the states. so i got the euro spec (special order ) comet 500 ambers. they cost 90 bucks as opposed to a discounted like.. 55 i usually can get, but theyre nice. before: after: check the importness
