Well I'm bored and I'll be making some orders and such soon so I figured, "hey, why not make a build thread?" here's the ultimate goal: D44s, 36s, 4 link, blah blah. Anyway, here goes. first hours of ownership in the driveway, 12/30/05. unregistered, uninsured, underinflated tires. FIRST MOD: HELLA 500s. omg so badass. 4/06- Rusty's 3" lift w/ full leafs. sat really high til it settled.. tow hooks, AJ's super rails, mopar gas tank skid, skid row tcase skid, JKS discos, JKS trackbar, surco rack. PAP 1/07 I think I switched out my 500 driving lamps to fogs somewhere around this time... FLOOR REPAIR!!! Summer 07 to all of which was done here: herc'd the floors, added LEDs everywhar inside and the halo glow bling gauges May 07- Lock Right installed out back, mopar front skid thrown on. Did RC for the first time and got hooked on rocks Picked me up 5 pristine Eccos for $200 about a month after that trip, and remounted the Mallers on them. 11/07- WON TON. oh, and a bad apple fab diff guard. and i pulled the tire off the roof for better emmpeegess. Winter/Spring 08: added hella 550 driving lamps up top, Ruff Stuff 8.25" cover, RE superflocks LCAs and since i had a few front end incidents in the winter ( ) I got me a bumper built, and went doorless over spring break. Picked up a XJ D44 and 1.25" spacers from drew and its getting an aussie, D30 is getting a trutrac (dont talk me out of it, decision made), 4.56 gearz, and 33s.

Sounds like a good plan didnt you make a build thread a while ago though? what are you doing with the locked 8.25 when you put the 44 in? :brows:

Anyway that 8.25 is locked/armored and has 1 year old brakes. Its getting sold to whatever hooligan wants it. Once the D44 is in we'll talk

Dana 44s are inferior to the chryco 8.25. Don't you know that? You earned that one bud. Should be a good build.

Nice. Those 10.5's? And those front fenders in the back corners might get chewed up if you don't trim a wee bit more.
And nice if i didn't already say so!

corey, i might need to trim more in the front in that area, looks like it might clear but i've yet to flex it out and check. i'll do that once the cut n fold is done. and yah, they're 10.5s.
i havent driven more than a mile on them but off idle response aint bad, feels the same with 31s. that bad ass bored tb i have prob helps with that. hopefully this isnt for more than a month as i should have money for gears and shit then. i already might have a buyer for my 8.25 as well.
wheels are stock, but i have 1.25" spacers.
