is that my high lift handle your using for your breaker bar?!?!?! Yeah... about that... sorry You should probably take that back at some point haha. It comes in handy tho! Anyways, Its 3:30 in the morning. time for updates. Well, Im a bit further along than I thought, as my friend Norm stopped by to lend a hand and took a few hours off of what I had to do. He is actually going to be my passanger to RC, so he wants to see this done as badly as I do. Luckily, he is also around to lend a hand tomorrow, so hopefully this will move along and get done already. As it sits now, the D60 is stripped down as far as we need it to be (I think) The D30 is gutted, and cut for the most part. I need to grab a new cutting wheel tomorrow to finish the job. Once the brackets are cut, they need to be tacked, tested, welded and painted. from there I need to relocate the breather/airline in the housing. once that is done, I slap the thing in, bolt everything down, tires on. From there I still need to make a drag link out of whatever i have laying around. (should be interesting) New lug nuts are needed for the rear, brake lines need to be run(also for the rear), and jam nuts all around need to be tightened down. Then comes the fun part! I have to build a double CV driveshaft... yeah ...yeah once I get the driveshaft situation taken care of front and rear (combo u-joints or new yokes) I just need to add a filler hole to the rear diff cover, fill up fluids, run the air lines AND I AM GOOD TO GO! I figure that can all happen in a day. I plan to be wheelin RC by noon friday. Also, I did take pictures tonight... but I left the camera in the garage... sorry guys, not happenin. Ill take the time out to post them and another update tomorrow. haha.

driving it to RC for a shakedown run is a scary thought.... but hey, i guess you cant be scerd The way I figure it. i break on every trip i go on. even though its a shakedown, it wont seem much different hahaha, well, minus the fact that it WONT be my D35 snapeing. haha, I do hear ya tho. I hope I can wheel a little before the rig breaks down. Anyways, i just got out of class, gonna eat, and get back to it. Im aiming for RC at noon tomorrow. And thanks Steve, that will prove to be VERY useful! GO TIME!

Alright, Well, finished for the night. getting close. still a decent amount to do tho. I figure at this point, Id rather not rush all night just to wheel a half a day, so Im going to finish tomorrow and drive down to RC with Hawk tomorrow night. I figure I need 8 more hours to finish. is all I can say haha no time for pictures at the moment, but will hopefully post a bunch tomorrow. All the brackets are now sitting on the D60, a little more trimming is to be done, then some tacks, a test fit, and weld. paint any chance i get throughout the day. driveshaft doesnt seem like its going to be a big deal at all actually. need to take about an hour out to reset my rear pinion angle. just going to do a jamnut eliminator kit on the clayton arms I think and weld them. still gotta figure that one out for sure. brakelines need to be run in the rear, but at this point, i may just slap on the old ones for this trip. (ziptie special) from there I have to add the shock mounts in the rear/run the air lines for the lockers (temp job anyway, literally 2 min.) and MAYBE modify the drag link. not sure yet. It sounds like alot, and it is, but between Norm and I, we should be able to bust it out in like 8 hours I'm thinkin. Im not out of this yet! And with "Go Johnny Go" that Drew posted playing on a continuous loop in the backround, we'll have it done in 2 hours! haha And no, not me in Durham. thanks all for the encouragement tho
