Update 3: Almost Done [/size] Added an extended mag release today. The new mag release is a steel replacement for the plastic one and has a downward 'leg' to act more or less like a mag release from an M14/M1A or The HK line of rifles. Push foreward and the magazine released.  The got a rail and some cheap rings (which will be replaces later with better quality ones) and a Scope. Burris 2.5-5x single bell scope.   It is basically done for now, not much else to add to it. I'll shoot it a bunch, maybe plug some squirrels.

Nice job on the Ruger Phil. I just love firearms! I havn't bought one in a couple of years , which is really strange for me. My dream is to get a nat'l match M1A, but I don't have a couple grand falling out of my ass to pick one up. Here's an old pic of my collection. I've picked up 2 or 3 more since then.  |

Ok Phil, time for a new one. I like these. DOO EEET  I've got no money. I'll try. Got a few projects in mind. Polarman. Cool stuff, The saiga is it a 12 or 20g? I had one in 20 and sold it to fund an AR15. Was never a fan of the SKS and the AK family, but cool stuff none the less. |

That's a Saiga 12. I like the fact that it has 2 settings for the blowback so you can shoot 3" mags or standard loads. It's never skipped a beat.

My Saiga-20 was a finicky little bitch and would only eat heavy loads and slugs no matter what gas setting I had it on. Even polished the rails and slicked the action in school...nothing. |
