Since my jeep is really just there and I add onto it when I please, I won't bore you with such a menial thread build. Instead this thread is dedicated to the many firearm projects I will tackle in the future. Maybe you can even learn from this. I will keep all threads in this build and when a new project starts, I'll just add another post to this. I start with... Ruger 10/22 Build - Project StealthFirst I start off with a standard Ruger 10/22. New production with a plastic tigger guard serial number prefix 351. Really really new. First order is business is to drop the gun out of the stock, remove the two barrel screws and remove the barrel. Ruger 10/22 Action without barrel Install the new barrel and tighten down both of the barrel screws to hand tight. Can't overtorque them, the aluminum receiver threads won't like that. Action with .920" bull barrel from Green Mountain. The finished product after dropping it into the Hogue Stock. What comes next: Cut down barrel to around 16.75" Trigger Job Extended Magazine Release Install Scope and Rail

Yeah, only reason why I changed the stock was to fit the new barrel contour, or lack thereof.
