OK so some win and some fail today. First the fail. I had been hearing a clunk all week. I thought it was my detroit but it got worse. I check it out and my whole drivers side rear brake caliper bracket is moving free of the axle. The crappy hardware from tera flex stripped out and not my bracket is all fubared. The holes ovaled out and if i cant get Tera flex to warranty it i have to get them welded shut and redrilled. I will know tomorrow what is happening cause i have to get it fixed before i make a few trips in the next few weeks. The WIN I finished up making my Adam Schwarts Custom Intake setup. I took my stock air box and sealed off the front hole with some thin aluminum flashing and silicone. Then drilled a 2.5" hole in the rear of the box to mount the new air hose too. as well as another hole right on the chrysler sticker on the fire wall. Sealed all couplers with silicone and hooked it all up, home made ram air/semi snorkel. All parts came from Auto zone for just under $30. Then i went back to my Home Guido Hood vents i did years ago on my old 94 xj country. In the Rain gutter section they have vents. They come in two sizes. i got the smaller size. They are only a few bucks each and come white. i took off the plastic screen they have on the bottom and painted them black. Then you drill 3 holes where each vent is going. use a 2 or 2.5" hole saw for this. The rivit the vents down. Here they are mocked up. I am going to finish installing them this week while my jeep sits. I am also getting a stock replacement d 44 axle shaft to replace my badly worn out shaft for $80 from randys ring and pinion so my axle seals actually seal. I will have the axle all apart so i figure its about time i fix that leak cause its pretty bad. that and i have a pinion seal to do. Hoping to get all this done by next sunday. while working 60 hrs a week and trying to save $$. I also removed the retro Moon visor.

Oh yea... IF you ever go w/ long arms. Do NOT expect much money from the uppers/lowers/&drop brackets/braces. I think in the end... I'll be lucky if I make $250.

Got everything taken apart today, and it looks like Tera Flex is going to warranty everything. i will know for sure tomorrow.
I am also researching getting a set of alloy shafts or just one stock shaft to replace my worn out axle shaft so my axle seals stop leaking.
I also got the holes for one side of my hood vents done but still have to screw down the vent. I will drill the other hols tomorrow and button up the vents. Hopefully it will be on the road by monday, its all p to what and when i order shafts and how soon tera flex can get me my brake parts too.

$250 for DB's and control arms.
I got a call today from tera flex. They are going to send me an entire caliper bracket assembly including e brake shoes. I am very pleased with their custom service so far. I just need to order some alloy shafts now.

Ok, some more progress.
I got my hood vents installed and ready to go, and i bought new hardware to use for the brakes that hopefully wont come loose. The brake parts should arrive tuesday and i will begin reassembly and also change out the bolts on the pass side just to be safe.
I ordered the Alloy USA 30 spline D 44 XJ/TJ shafts tonight and hopefully those will arrive before next weekend so i can get the bearings pressed on and reassemble my jeep.
In the mean time i am working on retrofitting head rests to my rear seat as well as a few other minor projects i have been wanting to do.
Lastly i am going to go through my entire suspension/steering and make sure that all bolts are torqued properly and good to go for winter. (i figure it cant hurt to check)
