Found out yesterday that I have to have a vehicle when I go to Virginia, the dorms are too farm from the shop to walk to every day. Ill have to buy something when im home in march, and drive it down.
What im looking for.

not too picky on the color, just not gunmetal blue or purple
I have about 4500 im willing to spend, although cheaper = more mods right away.
keep an eye out of you can , also, if you know any dealerships that have good deals on XJ's too.

yea, im looking for one like in the 2k range, and then spend the rest on mods. only thing is , i dont want a nasty jeep thats been beat and abused. its gotta be nice and I have to take care of it unlike i did to my last one, because this will be my one and only transportation, i tear up a driveshaft 3 hours from home and im fucked, its not like CT where I could call justin or corey or someone to help me out.

Then worry about building it when im down there. Not gonna hastle with getting the parts while im still in florida, having them shipped to my house, and then coming home and not finding a jeep for sale and having a bunch of parts I would need to be shipped on my dime to virginia. too many problems I could run into. But, i do have a 2" BB id throw on it while im home. |

i don't think i've ever seen a 97+ XJ (not totaled) for under $2500...... more power to ya though, there are a lot of second hand XJ's out there, ya never know  |
