it was a lot of extra work and no pinch seam to grab so if i ever hit anything substantial i would have just mushed it into the rear fender. when i took them out for a test and knocked some rocks with them i was fortunate enough to find out that by the time the rock reaches the end of the slider the rear tire starts to ride up on the rock anyways keeping the rear fender from damage

The only thing you might regret is making the out riggers mount to the bottom of the slider not flush on the back. they might get hung up on sumtin. but the mor ei look at it those are pretty close to the ends wher eyou prolly wont hit anything.
