8 hours later...
I have a "new" dana30 kinda bolted on/kinda just sitting there and 6.5" of lift in front
- could only get one upper off, the one bolt head is stripped to fuck - had a bitch of a time aligning the new axle/installing the lowers+6.5" of spring (finally ended up unbolting the tweaked uppers, installing the lowers, and then doing the springs, was easy as fuck that way) - new brakes arent done - ds still isnt connected - still need uppers - trackbar needs some serious adjustment - one tie rod end threads are stripped
after the leaves im getting 1ton steering either from ben or banditt, probably wont be wheeled until that is done (or it passes a rigorous drive up route 7 safety inspection)
pics to come...

From what I have heard, that rustys steering wont last long, if at all.

today I got... oh yeah NOTHING done
well I did destroy a pitman arm puller and install one uca
on the bright side I was able to drive it and it seems good, though the hawk pads that came on the new d30 arent stacking up to what theyve been built up to be, my braking was by no means spectacular

I spent another couple hours on my rig this afternoon and still got nowhere. Destroyed another pitman arm puller, a dead cow horn, and tried a pitman arm separator with no luck. Attempted to drill out the fucking mother fucker of a cold welded stripped bolt that is holding on my passenger side uca with no luck. I didnt even attempt to get my track bar off that fucking drop bracket that WONT LET GO. Duno what to do at this point... all of this shit needs to get done and im out of ideas and the will to work on my jeep. pics: steering right now... attempting to pull the pitman arm yet again... attempt at drilling out the uca bolt but my fucking gold dewalt drill bits cant seem to get any further: parts that need to go in: what I hope the finished product will be with dakota leaves: as it sits now:
