front axle is binding up, grinding, and popping, doing all sorts of weird shit. took out the front ds and disconnected the link and still binding. guess its the brakes or a bad bearing (though theyre brand new...)

Put in the bastard pack last night, pretty easy but not quick. The leaves ares beasts and gave 4-5" of lift with the helper leaf. The flex will probably not be great, but hey its 1/2 ton now no more 1/4 ton bullshit!
The procomp trackbar is put in, and while its beasty with a nasty-1 ton worthy heim joint at the end of it, it was overpriced and a pain in the balls to put in. The installation required drilling a 5/8 hole in the old mount, which seems like no big deal but unless you have an industrial drill... your not finding a 5/8 bit, they arent manufactured. So I ended up having to use a step drill to get to 5/8. Then the nut on the axle side has no bracket to hold it in place, so you have to have a 11/16th (no smaller or bigger as the nut is pretty soft...) goosenecked box wrench to hold the nut in place as you torque it, running aroudn searching for tools took longer than install the trackbar itself...
