I have once in my sierra. That was the day I discovered that when the needle reads half a tank it really means empty. After that I started calculating mileage.  |

I have never run out of gas.... EVER, 1/4 tank and I go fill it up

i ran out of gas on my motorcycle once.
it was 11:30pm and i pushed it for 30 min. on hilly back roads (didnt see one car) and i roll into a gas station @ 11:58 and the gas station closes at midnight and the lady already closed the place up. she was inside counting money so i banged on the window and asked if she could just turn the pump on so i could use credit to fill my bike. she just ignored me. so i tried to explain how i just pushed my bike for 30 min. and she didn't care.
so i went back the next day, bitched her out and i boycot that gas station, even though its the only one in my town.

I've never run out of gas.
I always fill the XJ up before and after wheeling.
The WJ has a computer that lets me know how many miles until empty. I've had it at 0 miles until empty at least a dozen times and have yet to run out.

I have never run out of gas... 1/4 tank and I go fill it up X2 on that. The only time I came close was going up to my friend's graduation in Mass and got pulled over for speeding at one of the spots where the exits are miles apart. Got nervous because the closest gas station wasn't opened yet and told me the next station was 5 miles in the other direction. |

I did once, testing how long the new tank/fuel pump would get me, just about a mile short of the pump  I pushed that fucker with the 33's by myself until I nearly collapsed, just trying to get it out of the way of traffic |

My gas light came on yesterday in my way to work, so I drove it 3 more blocks to work...
Then drove it home from woodbridge, probably like 5 miles. Ask me again tomorrow and i bet I will have a story about how I ran out of gas.
