i absoutely hate going to the gas station. i hate giving my money to the oil companies. i usually only put in just enough gas to get me where im going and back unless ive got money to burn and ill fill up.
ive never run out but ive had the jeep sputter when taking hard turns on E.

i really dont mind paying 1.28 a gallon for gas considering i was paying 3.98 this summer. Recently I found my self paying 1.50 a gallon and was pissed that gas prices were so high, then I realized I was paying more than double that 6 months ago and wasnt so pissed.

Never came close on my jeep. On my bike though... There's no gas gauge on gsxr's. Just a light that comes on at a certain level. Mine blinks at like a third of a tank. Then when it turns solid you better get to a gas station REAL quick. I've had it solid PLENTY of times and almost dry hah. Although, bike weighs like 350, so if I had to push it, whatever. I'd still look cool.  |

i let mine run pretty low once...i live on a hill and i was leaving specifically to go get gas and ran out as i was backing down my driveway....  |

on an atv once.
the furthest i pushed my xj was going from hazleton pa to ri, i was in a nutty mood and wanted to see how far i could go, once i got the needle physically on the bottom of the "E" i pussied out the jeep still only took about 18 gallons

in my old jeep i use to never put gas in it until i was sputtering around corners haha. raced the odds and lost a couple times. . . i guess it was cuz i was a broke college kid
