On the D30 I just got it is vacuum dissconect and my 95 is not. Can I just put my 95's shafts in the 88s and be done?

Yes then block off where the vacuum disconect would be with a plate.

I was reading some stuff about this and they where saying something about getting seals. Do i need to get seals to put in?

or u could just put washers in it to hold the fork in place, takes all of 15min. do that till u have time to swap shafts and figure out whatchoo be sayin bout dem seals

Good timing Caleb. I just got a hp 30 today and realized it was a vacuum disconnect, and I had the exact same question in mind.

Does it matter if its locked and it is going in a jeep that didn't come with a vacuum disco axle? What about the posi lock cables things?

Spend $200 on a cable you can make yourself? Ide go with the washers first.
