both rear wheels spinning at the same speed, you go around a slippery corner and what happens? the wheel on the outside is spinning at the same rate as the wheel on the inside. But what happens when you go around a corner? the outside wheel has a little further to travel than the inside wheel and on a slick surface, looses traction and the next thing you know your Jeep is kissing a Telephone pole

a jeep with a spool in the snow is WAY more predictable than one without. it does the same thing 100% of the time.
i never had one issue driving completely spooled in varying snows on and off road.
locker essentially would be the same. ive done both. never had a bad experience with either.

Ive driven in major snow storms with both front only and rear only lockers and like everyone says just drive with your brain and you wont end up saying "IM GONNA ROLL."
Actually most auto lockers will only lock under power but in my eyes if the tires are slipping, even though you are giving it gas w/o resistance wouldnt that make it less likely for it to feel the need to engage?
