Ok guys, I wanna install an RE 4.5 SF kit.
Heres my issue.
I cant get my stock shackles out, so I got in contact with an RE parts dealer and he will sell me a 4.5 kit but instead of running the 3.5 pack with RE's shackles he will remove those and just put in a 4.5" leaf pack.
He said RE doesnt reccommend it though due to flex.
Will it actually matter? I mean will something break or go wrong if I dont use the other shackles?
Thanks.

the only problem i see is that the rear wont flex as much as it could because of the increased arc and small shackles. why cant u get the stock ones out?

I tried installing a BB on this thing back in Feburary, the fucking bolts unscrew out of the nut but then they get stuck in the shackle and it just spins the bushing.
I tried putting an open end wrench on them behind the head and beating the wrench with a 3lb sledge and it wouldnt move.
This is on the back left after that I never even tried the right rear.

u dont need the shackle. just cut it all up and get it out. cut the bolt right next to the shackle and drop it out. then get new bolts.

A sawzall should work pretty good if you cant get the angle grinder up there.

Thems hardened bolts. You better have a good sawzall blade. Obviously something abrasive like a cut off wheel will work best.
