Well I have a 97, so actually using the RE Hack and Tap SYE is an option.
PORC SYE is 179.99
RE Hack and Tap is 99.00
What do you all like better?
I mean its called hack and tap but its not actually a hack job its clean when its done.
Your not going to snap the stock shaft anyways, so is there really a point of the PORC Sye?
I had the PORC on my 95, and I just dont feel like taking the T-case apart again, but honestly it could possibly be easier than doing the H&T..
What do you all think?

the full sye is stronger than the H&T, 32 vs. 27 spline.

Yeah I know that but like do you even need the 32?
I still have the stock 27 spline shaft from my old t-case in my basement, and when you compare it to the 32 its like holy shit but still...

the H&T is a flange.. at least the RE one is. you lose the ability to run the same ds f/r that way..
anyway, im still running the stock output on my 242.. havent had a problem, even with my mangled ds.

another thing from experience.... when i did my hack n tap... i ended up tearing the transfercase apart anyways cuz the tap snape'd in the hole....
and the porc is so freakin easy to put in anyways... took me 2 hours with breaks

Yeah im going PORC, I have already installed one and helped sam with his so I know how to do it.
Just was wondering if the cash difference was worth it, but I didnt know it was a flange thought it was a yoke.
