alright, i broke a weld on one of the BPE's and now only have one shock in the rear. now before everyone says i ran without shocks for a year blah blah i want them back in cuz im paranoid and im wheeling in a week and a half. so, i need suggestions as to how i could reattach as i broke all the bolts when taking off the old shocks. i think i will re-weld them than i will try to re-tap them first also before going to the other plan. any other suggestions would be awesome cuz im gonna be coming home this weekend to fix it before rausch.

I used an airchisel and knocked the broken part of the bolt out and then got new nuts bolts and washers and installed them.

new bolts and washers are youre best bet. welds wont hold up there bc the metal is crap.

i welded some xj rear swaybar brackets up there for bar pin eliminators. they are holding fine.

my friend that welded it did a pretty shitty job, i mean really shitty. im gonna get someone else to weld it for me and do a good job and also put some new bolts up there if i can get the old ones out. nothin wrong with overdoing it
