its in the t-stat housing already
its just chillin there, it has what looks like a threaded end sticking out of it.
you find random-ass wire near back of valve cover and make it longer and plug it in

i think i threw that away or my father did.. wasn't expecting that.... anyone know where the vaccuum diagram is in this FSM? I am having trouble locating it.

nvm, all issues being worked out, turned out we saved the tstat housing but that tap job is treacherous. vacuum lines are a go (didn't have the MAP connected. what a difference) I broke my heater control valve and oil pressure switch and temp sending unit. so those need replacing.

there was no temp senor in there.. just cruddy teflon tape suck to the semi-smooth walls of the hole.
