witht the engine swap almost complete, i have a few issues to work out. one is that i have no temperature reading in-dash, i cant find the oil pressure sensor wire in the engine bay, so i dont have that reading either. and both ac compressor and aux fan will not kick on when defroster is turned on. the a/c did kick on once that i saw during the first few running sequences. also can someone please get me a picture of a decent vaccuum line comparison so i can reconnect my crap. runs fine it seems but can and will die at what seems to be random.

What did you swap in a newer low mileage engine? I did not know you were doing a swap sorry.
BTW the haynes repair manuals have diagrams of all electrical and vac lines if that helps at all.

HAWK
when i swapped that engine in my jeep it didn't have a spot for the coolant temp sending unit.
so i drilled and tapped a hole in the t-stat housing for it.
the stock location for it is in theb ack of the engine bay.
what you need to do is cut that wire and run it to the front and stick it on.
now another note. that guage runs off resistance, the sending unit resists more when its hot for a higher reading, so with the added length of wire the resistance might be a little higher so the guage might read a little higher.
i thought i told you, but it may have slipped my mind

sam you wouldn't possibly have picture of this, would you?
in any case, I need to go to autozone and pick up a temp sending unit?
