Picked up another yellow top at the swap meet last sunday. I have a battery isolator...i will be hooking it up tonight and fabbing some kinda of dual battery tray...any suggestions would be appreciated ill post pics as time goes on.

vertical against the firewall, have the tops of the batteries facing the front of the jeep.

any chance you can shove one on the abs tray under the brake booster?

i probably could. My buddy came over while i was going to bolt angle iron together to make a tray....he wants to tig weld an aluminum one and kind of made fun of me for trying to make one....my way woulda worked fine but ehh whatever...hopefully he'll get to it... Im mainly doing this because i've been waiting for a while with the winch and lights, and i acquired a second yellow top @ the swap meet for like 40 bucks. I just figure....why not? grundle= thats the way we are gonna go. lay them facing torwards the front on top of one another kinda like the mean green battery tray. but not 150 bucks

any progress?... my jeep was 24v originally so i want to run 12v dual batteries, with the extra tray... lets see if i can hijack this thread

the standard version of the kit is about 125 bucks from summit, the waterproof version is about 195
