My JKS's came with pins to mount them on when not connected. they are pretty much the ideal solution. I got them 5 years ago tho, curious as to why newer sets wouldnt have them. but yeah, ill post pics tomorrow if you really want. Yeah the TJ's get a retainer that bolts to somewhere. But hey skid plate ehh? Anyone got one your willing to part? I haven't heard of that working but I'll look into it more. Yeah, hahaha, they bolt in to wherever the hell you drill and tap the hole. those XJ's you guys drive were built out of metal werent they? But being serious, there is no place on a TJ to bolt them, at least not the ones I had, I just picked the spot i wanted them, drilled, tapped, and installed in 5 min. theres no metal thick enough to do that on on an xj? I really wouldnt know. but thats how i had to do it. good luck!

I use zip ties too, but i have the original posts from the JKS discos, only thing is there's no way to mount em without the skid plate, so for now im just gonna continue to use zip ties until i buy a skid

I haven't had time to try yet. I shipped out all summer and now I'm back at school. I might give them a shot on Thanksgiving break. I'll post pictures when I do though. I know I can get them to work I just need some time
