Well the build hasnt gone as best as I had hoped so far. I planned to be farther along than I am presently. The die I have only bends to 120 degrees which isnt enough to make the main hoop (take a hint Will, just kidding!) for the stinger. I ended up selling my two dies last night and purchase a 180 degree die and had it two day shipped so Ill have it by Friday. I plan to bend more on Friday and Saturday.

Progress today. Main hoop bent  Lower brackets tacked in   Hoop tacked to lower bushings   Tire mount in and welded  Mocked with a tire. No side bars yet    Side bars in, no tire  I have to post up pics with the tire mounted. I still have alot left to do though. I just wanted to make it functional for the trip to Mabell tomorrow. I still need to grind down my welds which came out pretty crappy, weld the tabs for the license plate, weld in some plate for the skid and also bend some tubing to make a Hi-Lift mount. Its definately not 100% but I am pretty happy for my first bending project. Im learning to use the bender better and hope to practice some more. |

Thanks guys. It didnt come out exactly how I had liked it though. The main hoop is a little long and the welds are ugly as sin. I am going to go back and gring the welds down a little to make it more presentable. I think if I was to build another one, I would DEFINATELY have a tubing notcher before I do. I also need to practice more with the bender so I get it exactly how I like it. Thank you for the positive comments though.
