4.10? are you planning on running that gear??? Don't get me wrong it's a step in the right direction but if you're going to gear an axle might as well do it right the first time. My jeep is 10000000x more driveable with 33's and 4.56 than ever!!!

For now yes, 4.10's for a few reasons. Its a huge upgrade from the 3.07's I have now and its a stock ratio in both the 8.8 and jeep front axles. I plan on running a HP30 out of a XJ for the front for the added strength over a LP30, will save me the cost of buying a new carrier (3.07 carrier wont work for 3.55 and lower )and will save me the cost of regearing for now.
The most i'd go with a d30 is 4.56 anyways. 4.88 ratio is the lowest I could go and gearing wise it would be better for 35's, although with a 4.88 gear ratio in a d30, pinion strength starts being questionable with it being very small with only 8 teeth.
after the axles are all set, ill move on to flat skid and a few other armor add-ons and possible move to a 4:1 kit

4:10's on a manual transmission will be much better on that tire size than 4:10's on an auto. Deff a great improvement over 3:07's.
