basically finished up everything today, theres still a tiny bit up gap between the grille/fender area and i may cut a filler piece and I still have to pick up some plate steel for the gap where the sliders/fender/body meet. Overall this took me awhile to do mainly because I was basically planning as I went and ive never done anything like this before. I think I probably have around 20 hours of work into this project but gaining 3" of clearance for about $20 in supplies was worth it. Sure, they make a kit so you get the same effect without relocating everything but your wallet will be about $2100 lower just to get the kit to your door, another $600 or so for paint and if you dont install it yourself, factor in another $300-400 So my work may not be perfect, but I saved myself over $2500 bucks Real Rigs are Built, not bought ill get a few pics of the near finished job and my unique hood hold downs

heres some update pics passenger side fender/hood gap after cutting drivers side Trying to do this cheap I modified the stock hood latch to work with the new hood and angles, took it down the highway at 75mph today and it worked great All i have left now is adjusting the front a little, cut the rears (super easy) and have to figure out why the emissions leak detection pump is ticking loudly at idle feels good to have it back together and drivable again after ;D Top of fender to ground measurement is 46.5" (almost 4ft) I have 12" of room between top of the tire and the fender now

I noticed when I took this pic That i need to adjust the fenders a little bit more, once side sitting about 1/2" higher then the other I still need to take care of the front gap a little but that will probally wait till its warm out

heres a few quick flex shots, still havent cut the rears out since it hasnt been above 30 degree's here in awhile but they clear alright. Right now my flex is limited from the shock's and the fixed CA's Flex's pretty good for 4" lift and 35's though front swaybar disconnected and 30psi in the tires (didnt air down) good shot of front 35" tire and the 3ft rock i was flexing on, and the rest of the rock pile

whats keeping you from tucking more? are you binding the stock steering or trackbar?

not sure yet, pretty sure the shocks that came with the lift are limiting me, not sure what else yet ;D I need to save some money up and setup a ford 8.8 for the rear, SYE/CV shaft new shocks (rough country shocks suck anyways),
Thinking about buying some Johnny Joints and having someone make me some adjustable CA's instead of buying them. Flexing alot with solid CA's = very bad for the CA mounts.
Hopefully by the time summer roll's around ill have everything the way i want it for now

I Looks good but it deff needs some fender flares. You can prolly look in to doing a drop on the radiator to lower that cap, much like when you do a body lift some come with strips of metal to drop teh radiator down so the fan blade does not hit. If i remember correctly from my g/fs tj there is prolly enough room to drop teh radiator and fan shroud down about .5 to 1" down.

If i remember correctly from my g/fs tj there is prolly enough room to drop teh radiator and fan shroud down about .5 to 1" down. ill have to look into the radiator thing, I thought the body lift's just brought the shroud down and not the entire radiator, but i guess it should be easy to fab up some brackets to drop it down a little. as for flares I will have a front set at the meet and greet coming up and I should have a set of 4 if the price is cheap enough from a guy on jeep forum. I likes the looks of the ones I had on there, but with the passenger side missing a big chunk and how easy they crack i'm not even going to bother with them. once I deal with upgrading the axles and drivetrain I could fit some 37's and still have decent flex An extra 1" diff clearance over 35's would be nice
