Ok, i can get all the bearings i need for setup for under $25 and ia m finally ordering the carrier, and gears and bearings for the d 30 this week.

you will need a dial indicator with a base or something. the easiest way to setup diffs is to have another set of bearings withe the inside ground down just enough so you can slide the bearings on and off to set your depths.

I am borrowing a dial indicator, and i am getting another set of bearing to do the setup.

inch lb beam type torque wrench is what you need or dial
something that will measure from about 0-40 in/lbs accurately

Yea i just found out you cant use teh clicking style in lb torque bar.

Gears are on hold again due to bills and lack of $$$$$. Will not be locked or geared for mabelle but deffinitly done before my first RC trip. Things left to do: Buy gears, carrier, locker and bearing kit for D30, Set gears and install D44 and set gears in D 30, Buy SYE w/ front shaft (have shaft) Get some type of T case skid, (prolly rustys till i can afford TNT y link.) Complete list before RC this spring/summer.

The date is set. The weekend of the 12th of april i will be at steves house to do gear my axles and install the d 44.
I was bored today so i put the D 30 riddler diff cover on. Full of WIN.

Oh i will makes many a pics of that.
I will be putting on my new T case skid monday that will be painted the same green as my diff covers, and i will hopefully be doorless as of monday as well.
