No this is not for my jeep, its just a torch to have in case of need. i do not know the price yet but if its right i figure why not As in if its cheap and easily affordable then i should do it to make future projects easier but if he wants too much i wont do it.

OK so # 2 O2 sensor randomly went bad after 1 year so i think they might have fried it when they welded the muffler on so i am gonna go back this week and see if i can get them to replace it for me.
I also need to try and adjust ym hinges so my sagging doors dont sag as much. I did an oil change too and i usually use royal purple before winter so i can go 6k miles and not have to change it in winter but at $9 a quart i went with the cheaper Mobile 5000.
Tomorrow i will install my new 01 xj carpet and try to adjust my doors. It really sucks that its getting cold out and that the sun goes down so early WTF.
Thats all for now.
Oh and my Beijing front end will be in some time in January and its gonna cost around $350 to get it all painted to match. So it will prolly go on some time in the spring unless i can find a garage to find in to do it over the winter cause i am not doing that in the cold and snow.

you will only see the top 3" of it
i ran a dark blue header panel on my green jeep and nobody noticed until i pointed it out to them, im sure you can get it to look nice using duplicolor chrysler match paint and some clear

I may look in to that, the problem is that the local paint shop said they cant get it by paint code any more but the guy who will do it (its a private shop) can get a direct match and at mix just wont ever look right. and that would make me nuts. he siad he may charge me less depending on how much i trim off for the bush wackers and how little there is to actually paint on the new header panel, less than the stock xj panel. That and i just want it to look good even if it is gonna get scratched up and shit i have had bad luck with spray bombs chipping really easily on fenders and shit. We will see when i get the parts in january.

Installed 01 xj carpet today, its really nice and clean, almost like new. Was a bitch though cause it got dark and really cold very fast. but its done. Also discovered that the entire pass side floor pan is a nice color of rust and has 4 3"+ holes right over my exhaust. and i can see in to my unibody rails. So for now i put in some heat shielding i had from a friends f 350 and then i put in an extra layer of carpet insulation over the entire floor to kill some noise and heat cause it gets real hot on the pass side obv. So i guess i know what i am doing this spring when i get my hands on a welder. I only have a few more odds and ends to get done before i call it quits while winter is among us. I really dont want to wrench this winter unless i have no choice. Next items on my list are installing my unibody stiffeners both front and rear, tieing in my drop brackets and sliders and building a belly pan. Then paint and install Beijing front end. Then possibly replaing my very heavily cracked exh manifold with an apn header, and a new un crushed down pipe, oops. and install my 99 intake. Who knows, the list changes and gets longer and shorter every day.

i need to find me a carpet, im running carpetless now. Im gonna herculine it and then throw some carpet back in mine.
All you did was pressure wash yours and it looked new? How long did it take to dry?
Also, what did you do with your old carpet.

How long did it take to dry? Also, what did you do with your old carpet. Old carpet was junk. I pressure washed it from one end to the other using a very little bit of laundry detergent and peeled off the old carpet insulation from the bottom. You have to slowly sweep back and forth with the pressure washer too loosend and remove all dirt and sand, basically till teh water sprays off it clear and not dirty. It took 2 hours to get it clean then it took 2 warm days out side to dry 1 day inside by the stove. Looks like new.

So far i have almost finished making a steering stabalizer mount for the tie rod/draglink. Next project i want to work on is designing what exactly i want to do about my front bumper if i even keep the arb, and what i am going to do about a belly pan.
I want t case protection obviously and i also want my exhaust down pipe protected cause i keep crushing it in more very time i wheel. Does a tnt belly pan cover all that? I dont think it does, Maybe fab up an engine/tranny skid of sorts. I may just build an entire belly up style skid when i put my frame stiffeners in and tie in my lca brackets. it all depends on time/$$ when my friend helps me weld everything in.
I love the looks of my ARB and the mass front end protection but i want something that is better built and a more slim line bumper with the full frontal protection for when i get this Beijing front end on. I emailed AJs to see what they can come up with and if i like it and can afford it the ARB might be up for sale when i can afford it.
