It would next to impossible for me to bend 2" .250 wall square tubing. I could cut and weld it but why?

This is all really cool dave. i love all these long arm projects. It makes me wish i had a welder cause i can weld good enough once i get back in to it that i think i could pull some of the simpler stuff off. I love the unibody stiffners too. Obv you are welding the stiffners up but are you going to weld and bolt the x member or a combination? i really want to get some stiffners made up so maybe if these work out well for you this summer you could make me a set and i can come to you and have you install them and i will pay you for all of it in cash money. the best i could do to help in the unibody stiffning was i installed teh RE steering brace that is supposed to stiffen the front end. the only catch with the unibody stiffners is i want to do them after i get my tnt kit this summer so the tnt belly pan will fit and we can tie it in to the unibody stiffning.

The crossmember will bolt in with 5 bolts on the bottom and 2 on the side on each side. I finished the crossmember today. Its a brick shit house. My co workers think it is extreme over kill now. I will get some pics tomorrow.

The stiffeners went very quick. I takes no time at all to get them size. Cutting the holes takes some time. I used 1/4 because it was cheap and my local guy didnt have 3/16. I figured since it is holding up my long arms, 1/4 would be fine.

yea, in leu of having a sick shop with tools i went with tnt. kinda dissapointed the directions say just to stitch weld them on, im planning on drilling a meelion 1/2" holes to fill in to attatch them as well as the stitching.

Crossmember done. Here is the mock up. I drilled the 2 side holes on each side through the unibody and now I will finish the drilling on the ground. After that it goes back up for finally drilling and then come back down to hole saw the unibody so I can weld nuts into the stiffeners and it will recess into the "frame"
