looks great man, I really like the way the winch uses up the space between the end of the frame and the grill. great build keep the pics coming. Thanks, i feel the same way. The best part is this winch is an early 8274 its out of the ealry 70s. I like to keep some kind of nostolgia factor

haha close... they are michelin XL 11.00R16 they are about 39" tall by 12" wide. I run them on a stock chevy CUCV rim 16x6.5 probably going to do some weld on bead locks. They are heavy; my friend runs 40" boggers on 16.5"x10" steelies and he said my tires and wheels are "twice as heavy" as his.
There is also a 12.50R20 which is a little wider and 41" tall for a 20 inch rim. That will probably be my next tire/wheel combo, maybe some bling 20s

Heres the fuel cell I'm using, it an RCI 15 gallon aluminum, I had it in my other jeep before. my rear floor was not quite "flat" so i built this cradle and pushed the floor up to meet it Rear shaft I made, appears to have less than 1/16 of runout using my "crude" methods. At the very least it could be a good spare and a good template to have one made

Got my two 20' pieces of DOM today and about a dozen 4.5' pieces of DOM. 20' pieces were a little hairy to transport but not too bad. starting on the cage this weekend. Tonight I made the tie ins from the grill hoop to the firewall. no pics, I forgot my camera.
