car-part.com just search for 98 for explorer then select rear axle and then the ratio... Theres a shit load on there for $150- 300 depending where you go. Thats where i bought my 8.8 for $160

you'd have to check whats closer to you, but places like this Universal Auto Salvage Inc. USA-MA(Uxbridge) 1-800-441-6000 has a 2001 8.8 3.73 ratio limit slip for $200 and you could probally get it cheaper if you ask

i have a ford 8.8 off an '89 f150, dont know if thats of any use to you, might be too wide , however the ratio is 3.54 i believe
