do they even make a class 3 hitch for an XJ? how much can an XJ tow safely? i had mine up to 2500lbs this weekend and i regret taking my rear sway bar off. it didnt feel to safe either.

i have a class 3 hitch on mine and ive towed a trailor with 2 dirtbikes and a quad with not rear sway bar and it felt fine. considering i will probably never tow more than that other than maybe one more dirtbike or quad, im very happy with the set up

class IIIs came on XJs from the factory. an XJ is DOT approved at 5000 pounds.
