i have absolutely 0 experience with distributors. If you gimme that cap and rotor, is that basically replacing the whole deal? im learnin as i go with this one

if you are just changing out the cap and rotar its no big deal really. i did mine recently. if you find you need a hand ill be down friday and sat.

well if u only need a cap and rotor thats one thing, if u need a distributor than u need the whole thing with the shaft and gears blah blah

thats the thing, im not sure the dist. is chirping now and the jeep tries to die off when im idling. could a cap and rotor replacement solve this?
