NOT FOR THE WEAK HEARTED!the day i get banned from jeepforum will also be the day i tell this kid he's a fucktard who takes 8 months to put a bolt in 44 in and then takes 4 days to bleed his brakes, but it was all worth it because he had those $60 "high clearanced" shock mounts i could have made for 24 cents with items from my local hardware store.

"Then, we have to pull the axleshafts out to inspect the splines, The splines looked good, what a relief."
Oh good! we know how often those pesky dana44 splines wear out when driven by a 35 year old white female for most its life.
"the shock mounts are equally beefy, as 1/8" was used for the mount itself, and a 9/16" bolt for the shock-mounting surface."
Isnt that what jeep gave us stock?
"As for the lines, I bought a 72" piece, a 20" piece, and the necessary tube cutter and flare tool. Make sure the lines have standard threads, not metric. The short side of the hard lines, going from the driver's side caliper to the block, was the hardest. To get the sharp bends, I wrapped the line VERY CAREFULLY around a 19mm socket attached to a ratchet. Double check that the line was not kinked or cracked, if it is, you will have to try again with anther piece of line. For that side, I just did a sharp S-bend."
Oh thank you for getting into such detail on the brakelines, but what diameter is it,? I think i'll just go get the biggest one at autozone because bigger is better right?
"As for the breather tube, you will notice that the one on the D35 was connected to the bolt that held down the distribution block. This is not the case for the 44. The vent is separate from the block's bolt. Thus, you will have to pull out the bolt from the vent tube which is connected to the Jeep, and attach the vent tube to the little tube on the axletube."
thank you for that cruicial detail i think i can figure that out on my own, but why did you skip the section on bleeding brakes?
(ok im done for now)

if geno can put an 8.8 with discs in a jeep in like 2 days. and that kid takes 8 months to do an easier swap, he is a tard and a half.
and im not busting on you geno, but when you put that 8.8 in you had like 6 months of wrenching experience.

I think it took him 8 months because he was too busy going over every fine detail with a fine tooth comb. He probably skipped bleeding the breaks becuase it was a 40 page long process and he thought 'noone would read this'.
