what boost is he running, how reliable is it. why is he selling it? 7 psi daily, 11 at high boost. Its very reliable. He bought it from the guy I sold it to. The guy I sold it to blew the motor so my buddy bought it from him and put a new motor in it. The guy I sold it to thought he was a racecar driver and didnt know anything about cars. He kept turning up the boost and he didnt realize it. Blew it up doing 140 on the highway.

i know nothing about turbos but my neighbor bought a pt loser turbo and he said it had 10psi stock boost and he was able to fiddle with it and get 15psi out of it with about 250 horse, dont know if he was saying at the crank or tires, prolly crank. does it seem like he's bs-ing tho? seems to be a lot of boost, even stock if 11psi is high boost on the civic.

PSI really does not matter.. on my buick i was able to run 24psi on pump gas with my stock turbo, after i put the 70trim on i couldnt run anything past 14psi on pump gas. On a smaller turbo like the factory one, it is possible to run that kind of pressure, but due to the small size of the turbo, its going to heat up fast and heat soak what little intercooler they have.. And im pretty sure those pt's come with 220 horse power or so stock.. so 240 is a realistic number..
