i may take it if i can find a matching front... or else ill just sit on for a while till i get a nice front... or just throw the new gears into the d30... also i was reading an article on cutting a d30 for more clearance sounds great... www.4x4wire.com/tech/shaved60/ill prolly be taking that off your hands

I can throw in two extra sets of drums and backing plates with complete hardware. I took this stuff off my other dana 60 because I am doing a disc conversion.

can this be changed to a 5 on 4.5 pattern if the hubs get changed?

its not worth it . itsa waste of time to have a 60 rear with a d30 front. the biggeset tire i would trust on a d30 is still a bit to small for a d 60 pumkin. if u get it just get either a full width 44 or 60 with matching lug. i dont think a FW44 cost that much plus a ford one is a HP too

This is a full floater so it will stay 8 lug. You can find an f250 Dana 44 from 77-79 and it will be high pinion and 8 lug. Or you could get a cheaper J 20 front Dana 44 which is still 8 lug, the correct width yet low pinion. Then you can run the H1 wheels which have 7" of back spacing and beadlocked by nature and the width will be very close to stock.
