Heres my shop/ working space. It really nice to have acess to 4 grinders. I leave a stone wheel on one and a wire wheel on the other. Chop saws in the corner. Plasma cutter is my arch nemesis. I have about as steady a hand as a crackhead. These are my mounts that I slightly fucked up. I forgot to account for that stupid overhang where the light for the license plate sits. I had to extend those mounts about 2" so the tire would clear the wiper arm/ plate light shroud thing. Heres the 2x6 tacked in place. No, it will not be that long. It looks slightly uneven because my tailgate is dented Here the hinge is inserted where it will stay. I quit for the day after that. I still need to weld the hinge in and make the carrier part for the tire. I went to get a hole saw at the hardware store and bought the wrong sized like a fucking bonehead. Wasted 20$ so I threw in the towel after that. Plus I'm getting strep throat and I was firing off snot rockets like an AK in compton. I need to cut a half circle in my 2x2 to mate it to the hinge. I'll have to buy another hole saw but it'll look better than just having some big ass welds from the hinge to the 2x2. It's also getting weld through shackles and a receiver hitch.

nice dood. coming along well. Make sure (as im sure you are aware) the bumper is level(yes i see your hatch comment) with the jeep and not the floor. Vehicles do not always sag the same.

Its level with the vehicle, not the ground. I made sure of that.

I had a magnetic level on it for a while and was adding shims to it, but it didn't take much to realize it wasn't even close to level. I had it on blocks with some shims and basically just eyeballed it with two other people's opinions and tacked it.
