after seeing the ones Will put on desert metal, i wanted to copy that idea on my jeep.. so first i fount a air cleaner that was small and would fit on my T.B. then today took hood vents off a camaro hood so i can cut them in and then put the carb style air filter in the jeep. figured id share.. pics up when i do it. these are the vents (bigger ones)  |

its a hurst promatic (slap stick) was sitting in a F-150 and i ripped it out before it went to the crush pile, as did everything came from work (vents, shifter, air filter holder) the best thing is that its all FREE  |

How did the shifter install? I make my own custom shifters out of stock levers but i like that better and i am always wanted a hurst shifter. Can you get me a part number off it? I really want to do that now. I have been pondering how to update my t case shifter and thats what i want. This is my setup using a stock xj 5 speed knob.  I have 2 more xj levers for sale and ready for knobs too. I would get a K&N for that air filter too, you will notice a big difference. |
