yes my father made it, and yes you can play basketball on top of mountains with golf balls.....FTW

i was more or less knocking on the folks who say "ew" and "ftl" at these diff guards that really dont appear to stick out very far at all, when themselves have no diff protection at all.
im just using your mishaps as an example

I put it on and made it because it was free, my dad bent the stainless at work and welded a rough flange on it, I then ground it all and drilled it as needed until it worked. IT was free 100% free and yes those are allen bolts which were also free, I had like 30 of them,
