Here's the update:
The gears, locker, and shaft are all in. What a pain in the ass it was, but hopefully it will all be worth it when I finally get to take it out wheeling again...this time in 4 wheel. The Detriot in the front sucks big time on the road in 4 wheel though! It pulls and jerks but I know I wanted 100% traction. Other than that, some people give me slack for having a carb (Spanky, but its all good). So I decided to purchase a Holley 670 cfm Pro-Jection fuel injection set up for 360. I've head very good things about the kit, so I'll keep you posted on the swap and the good/bad results.

i may be abel to be of some assistance if you have issues getting it running well, but from what i hear the pro-jection runs well with the off the shelf mapping.

you know what i don't see there? something to make that thing not scary as hell on the highway. You should also sell the pro-jection for a lot more than you bought it for.
