alright...got a GW w/d44's, question is what the fuck do i do now!!? never done an axle swap before...(oh,shit!) i plan on maybe doing a SOA , or keeping my 4" lift and getting a body lift and cutting out the fenders some more and running 36 in tires . can i use any other parts off of the gw? (steering or anything else?) whats the best route to go? P.s. by the way....its an 88 gw, does it matter?

I know someone who did a SOA with a 2" lift on a YJ and was running 35's. They cleared no problem. The truck sucked to drive though. I'd try doing a spring under with your lift kit and some trimming. Get some spring prerches and someone who knows how to weld and you should be going in the right direction. Please tell me that you didn't get a disco waggy front end otherwise this thread will be void.
