TNT Y Link is the best choice. You'll thank yourself for getting one. Don't forget about the skidplate that the kit comes with. I've pounded the under side so hard so many times and it just doesn't matter. You'll hate yourself if you go with Rusty's. You know what I allways say about Rusty's and I'm sure that will apply twice as much for a long arm kit. I'm not sure about the other kits but I don't see any magazines raving about them. You know which one to go with. Actually I think you already knew which was the best choice and started this tread to get me fired up. Good job. .........................and who is giving me bad karma?

My vote goes for Rockcrawler, 399 shipped, cant beat that! as far as welding, just drive to a local welding shop and they will weld the brackets on for less then 30 bucks.. not a big deal at all.. u can weld the brackets on, and drive the truck still.. and with the money saved you can buy the TNT belly pan still..

I dont have any faith in that 3 link set up. After seeing Will's TNT up close, that is what I would buy if I was inclined to buy something like that.

If there was reports of the 3 link failing, then id justify the difference, but everyone that has the RK has no complaints.. I have not read one instance on a RK kit failing because it only uses 3 links vs 4.

if you do a 3 link just beef up the axle mounts with some 1/4" BAM! problem solved. you will not break those arms or heims.
and rockkrawler used to be $399, now its more around $600 that they fancied it up a little bit.
and with rock krawler the only welding involved is the lca mounts, you bolt them in, drive to a shop and they weld em up.

What about the Full Traction 6" longarm kit? Any bad things about it?

What about the Full Traction 6" longarm kit? Any bad things about it? I couldnt find it by itself thats why i didnt mention it. As far as which is the best, I agree, we all know the answer to that. But putting $1000's into my $500 jeep is getting old

I had the red Jeep and just couldn't bring myself to put all that new expensive stuff on it so I bought the white Jeep. Maybe consider getting another one worthy of lots of $.
