Well after Mabelle my front fenders and tires took a pounding. I figured it is time to bump stop it. I don't like the Gorilla Glue solution but I like the hockey puck idea. Here is what I did: First, drill some holes in the amount of hockey pucks you need to use. Then find some hardware that will run the distance of the pucks plus some. These bolts I found in my basement. Next, drill holes that correspond with the size of the bolts you are using from the bottom up in your spring perches. I drilled them a bit bigger than the bolts so the bolts go in easy. There is a little nipple on the perches that marks center. (Its not critical so if you are off center a bit don't worry.) Next, flex it out enough to slip the pucks in the springs and drop them in. Last, send the bolts up from the bottom and put the washers and nuts on the top. Use a rachet on the bottom and a wrench on top. Don't over tighten it. I used polylock nuts because its what I had here. ( the passenger side is a bit more difficult because of the track bar bracket. Have patience.) All said and done it took less than an hour start to finish. It should stop the shredding of my tires and fenders. There is no removal of springs involved what so ever. Rears are next, stay tuned. David

add this: Drill countersinks for the nuts and if you are satisfied with the amount of pucks, fill countersink with black silicone after tightening the nut.

flex limiter, just trim more so what do you do when your already trimmed to the max? just let your inner fenders be your bumpstops? bumpstops also prolong the life of coil springs. by not letting them overcompress. bumpstops also extend shock life, by not letting your shocks be your bumpstops. go zip tie some shit to your hood LETS HAVE A FLECKZ OFF!!!!! me-less lift more tire dobbs=lots of lift less tire. GO! set up your suspension right and you will have no problems having plenty of flex with bumpstops. that is all......

That's great. Now I know what I need to do. Of course I also have 3/4" spacers laying around that might need to go in as well.
