ok, so what needs to be done to it to pass such advisement.
and Mike, I'm super impatient when I hear about a good thing. Bad memory, too. When you think I can get my hands on that 8.8?
"Note: The Ford 8.8 is not compatible with anti-lock brake equipped JeepĀ® vehicles!" -K so what's that mean for me? No ABS on the rear axle, or IT CANNOT be done?

you can just pull the fuse for your ABS and you just wont have ABS anymore.
ill call the guy tomorrow and see if he can get that axle for me

Dana 44 - 1,100 lbft Ford 8.8" 28 spline - 1,250 lbft Ford 8.8" 31 spline - 1,310 lbft Ford 9" 28 spline - 1,340 lbftbroke my 9" 28 spline with 37s and didn't really beat on mine. have a 9" coming in the mail with 31 spline yukon shafts now.

how does a 33 spline dana44 shaft stack up in numbers? dunno... I pulled that up from one of the mods on pirate for stock axles. Higher than any of the numbers there.

i probably would keep an 8.8 in the same running class as a 44 for all realistic applications edit: also READ THIS

a stock 8.8 shaft still smokes a stock 44 shaft.
it all depends on the setup you want to run.
